Swiftpoint Z2

This is possibly the best mouse I've ever purchased. The quality is unmatched. Definitely takes sometime to get used to tho. Also the support staff is quick to respond and very helpful. Would buy again!

Hi Rob, thanks for your review. For anything defective we will always cover the cost of return shipping so this may have slipped through the cracks with our support team. We will reach out in private to arrange cover for the return shipping!

Love It

I got the mouse primarily for easier multitasking and gaming since some of my games required extra keybinds I thought awkward by default. So far the mouse has been working fantastically. I enjoy it very much.

Concept is Incomplete

(Elaboraing on my prevous review)
This sounds great on paper, but while on the fly, its a whole different thing.
When I bought this mouse I planned to incorporate the more eccentric features (tilt and hard press) it offers for GAMING, but it just didn't feel right. While competitive gaming, there will ALWAYS be a time when you unconsciously press harder than usual and so you might missclick your hard-press keybind or even activate the tilt function. So at least for the main buttons, I dont recommend this feature -Yes, you can calibrate, but if you go for a really hard press, then it is just too uncomfortable to use-.
Now, about the TILT function, Swiftpoint advertices it as a lean feature for shooters, but let me point out that when you tilt, your mouse sensor moves as well, making you lose AIM. This feature will also activate when you lift your mouse, a common thing even with large mousepads -trust me on this one- or when you press hard on some keys, so unless you use it inside another layer, or while pressing a modifier, this feature is useless for gaming.
I'm sure this mouse is wonderful for productivity.
I'd also like to point out that I'm not a fan of the scroll wheel. It feels cheap, same as the RBG logo.
Every other button is very cool, feels and performs great. I don't plan on returning, but CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

Thanks for the feedback. You can change to the lockout feet to turn the tilt functions off. Feel free to reach out to us directly or check out our community if you'd like some examples of how others are using them. If there's something specific you had in mind for using with tilt/deep click we'd be happy to help you get it set up.

Love it, now do one for fingertip grip... =)

Big fan since the Z1. However, it's best tailored for users who rest their hand's palm on the mouse ("palm grip"). If you - like me - prefer to put your palm behind the mouse on the mousepad, you will most likely (i) not be able to reach the small mouse button on the left of the main buttons, (ii) need to use the stubs instead of the larger standard "paddle" buttons for the secondary buttons and (iii) play around with the trigger buttons (I turned them around with the higher end facing the front) for best comfort.

For me, even though I have rather large hands, a smaller version would be perfect. For example, the back end of the mouse (where the logo sits) could be ~5mm thinner and maybe 10mm shorter.

Awesome

I feel like I am witnessing the evolution of the mouse. It’s a real game changer..

Great mouse

Great at everything from productivity to gaming, wish it had a wireless option and would have loved if it had 8,000 hertz polling rate.

Z2 review

Overall does very well. I haven't had much chance to truly use the deepclick function but have used the tilt feature in warthunder to fly. With so many buttons, I have had some difficulty remembering what keybinds I have set for the games I play

i don't like it so much

non è il massimo che si può desiderare per il costo, la qualità è buona ma le funzioni non sono il massimo, tipo il rilevatore per l'inclinazione.
e anche dificile pulirlo dallo sporco che si forma con tempo.

Excellent Mouse.

After searching for a mouse to satisfy my needs for multiple mappable buttons in easy-to-get-to places, I saw the Z1, but at the time, the price was out of the range I was willing to pay. so I went with a Roccat Leadr. Sadly, Roccat discontinued it before mine died, so once again, I was searching for a replacement & the Z2 came to my focus. It was a very expensive purchase at $330 Australian, including postage, but so far, it has proven to be worth it. Some of the buttons are in weird places for my left-hand grip; however, I can overlook this because it's not specifically designed to be a lefty. I personally don't use the gyroscopic functions, but I did fiddle around with them. I can see why it's a feature, but with my grip & style of movement, it was more of a hindrance. I'm happy with my decision to go with a Z2. I just hope the Swiftpoint team keeps the quality & improvements coming when I need a Z3 or Z4.

The best MMO mouse money can buy

I play games with 30+ keybinds. I have to have a ton of buttons on my mouse.
I had the original Swiftpoint Z and loved it. The scroll wheel broke after many years and I shopped around and tried out pretty much everything on the market now with this many buttons and settled on a different mouse.

Nothing ever felt right. None of them were as effective. When the Z2 came out I knew it was time to give the Swiftpoint another shot.

Having the very different types of buttons in very different places helps compartmentalize them in my brain, making it easier for quick recall and much hard to make mistakes than having all the buttons jammed together like the others.

So good! I can't say I really have a single complaint besides maybe one or two more buttons would be nice.

It's a high price, but it truly outclasses everything out there.
It's perfect.

Control your Mouse

It has been 2 months since my Z2 has arrived and it has been the best mouse I have owned. I love the features on the mouse that I never really thought a mouse should have but damn is it nice to have now. The mouse feels great doesn’t remind me of those cheap plastic mouses you get for 10 bucks. The program itself is well made and I like that it comes in two modes one simple and the other you can basically do anything. Overall this mouse is expensive but in the long run I say it’s worth the price.

Uncomfortable for Palm Grip and Poor Customer Service

I was very excited to use this mouse for work productivity. However, I found the mouse extremely uncomfortable for use with a normal palm grip. There is an asymmetric large bump in the left side of the mouse body right at the base of your thumb / thenar eminence which creates painful pressure. The solutions recommended by customer support are to adopt a claw grip (which feels unnatural to me), change out the button covers (which doesn't do anything about the large bump) or to slide your hand further back (which is more comfortable, but puts multiple buttons out of reach).

I then tried to return my mouse, only to be told that the company does not provide a return shipping label and they will not refund the initial shipping charge. This makes it seem like their return policy of "We're so confident you will love your new Swiftpoint mouse. If you are not 100% satisfied simply send it back for a full refund" is intentionally worded in a misleading way.

Depending on your grip, you should keep this in mind and try to demo the mouse in person before ordering.

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your recent review of the Swiftpoint Z2.

I’m sorry to hear that your experience with myself and the team at Swiftpoint hasn’t been great.

While I appreciate your feedback in this review, I’d like to clarify that we do offer a full refund, including your original shipping cost, once the mouse has been returned to us.

We understand the Z2’s shape, size, and weight may not suit everyone, and as mentioned within our support ticket thread, we encourage users to experiment with different grips and button setups.

If you'd like to return your Z2 for a full refund, including shipping, the return request is still open and active.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
Sean and the Swiftpoint Team

The best "Rolls Royce" of a mouse you'll ever use

I bought the Swiftpoint Z2 on back-order when I kept seeing it come across my TikTok feed, and was wildly interested in its design and its features.

When it finally came, it took me a moment to adapt to it. The only thing(s) I've done to it is replace the paddles with the little nubs, and removed the tilt feet. This mouse is so wildly customizable that I couldn't ever go back to any other (gaming) mouse.

It is super easy to bind a key bind to one of the mouse's buttons. It's helped me improve a little in shooters and other games by relieving the burden of having to lift a finger off the WASD keys by rebinding the reload key to one of the buttons on the mouse for example.

This is, by far, the best mouse I have ever used and I would recommend anyone and everyone to get one. You will not regret this decision, I promise you. Yes, it's pricy, but like I said, it's a "Rolls Royce" of a mouse.

The Best Mouse I’ve Ever Used

The Swiftpoint Z2 is without a doubt the best mouse I have ever used. In a time where the trend with gaming mice is to chase the goal of ever smaller and lighter, it’s nice to see one made with the intention of packing in as much as possible instead. The levels of customization available with this mouse is incredible, to the point where i’m now worried about a future years from now where I need to get a new mouse… i’m not sure anything else will suffice! Possibly the most incredible thing about it is that I can’t think of a single problem I’ve had with the mouse, or the software that comes with it. Everything has been intuitive and easy to use, and the entire experience has went exactly as I would hope.

The Swiftpoint Z2 is truly the most excellent mouse that I have ever used, and I will continue to refine my usage and optimize my gaming and workflow with it into the future. If you have the money, this is the mouse to get!

Nice mouse. I really like it. but the X1 Software needs a little touch up.

the mouse is really good and I really like that remapping and everything you can do with the mouse.
I really love the input combination or whatever you call it.
but
the software X1 needs a bit of a touch up.
profiles are a mess and I would like to reorder them or put them in a folder (sub folder) and also there is no way of adding
the link apps panel is really nice. but if you have something open that has a really long name. like the new warhammer game. then you cannot link it because the checkbox it all the way in the back and you cannot resize the window to make it so that you can click. this would be an easy fix it the checkbox is in front of the app rather than all the way in the back.

in short. I really like it, ain't no way I'm going back to a regular mouse. the software has some querks that I find that they need to touch up. but it does get the job done.
